On 13 March, H.E. Mr. Muhemmed Aejaz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Belarus, participated in the opening ceremony of the “International Quarter” at the XXXII Minsk International Book Fair.
The “International Quarter” is an initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Information of Belarus. The purpose of this platform is to provide an opportunity for diplomatic missions accredited in Belarus, foreign publishing houses, and authors to widely present the literature of their countries and to demonstrate that the world is beautiful in its diversity.
For the Embassy of Pakistan in Belarus, this marks the fifth participation in the Minsk International Book Fair. The Embassy’s stall not only offered a wide selection of books on Pakistan’s history, landscapes, and historical buildings in English and Urdu but also displayed artifacts representing the rich culture of the country.
The exhibition is attended by thousands of people annually and will remain open to visitors until 17 March 2025.
