Pakistan Shines at Minsk International Book Fair with Exclusive Book Launching Ceremony
On the second day of the Minsk International Book Fair, the Embassy of Pakistan captivated literary enthusiasts with a special book launching ceremony, drawing an esteemed gathering of over 50 guests. Highlighting the event was the presentation of two significant publications: “Colours of Pakistan,” a bilingual coffee table book in English and Russian, and “Faiz’s Flame” by the acclaimed Russian writer Vladimir Lesovoy.
The Ambassador also distributed certificates of appreciation to several members of the Belarusian Union of Writers for their contributions in strengthening Pakistan-Belarus literary cooperation.
The Ambassador of Pakistan to Belarus Sajjad Haider Khan led the ceremony, presenting “Colours of Pakistan” to attendees, a book that weaves the rich tapestry of Pakistan’s heritage, culture, and natural beauty. Likewise, Vladimir Lesovoy offered a deep dive into “Faiz’s Flame,” shedding light on the life and poetry of Faiz Ahmed Faiz, a luminary in Urdu literary circles.
