On 29 December 2025, His Excellency, Mr. Muhemmed Aejaz, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Mr. Sergei Aleinik, Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs and National Security of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
Emphasizing the series of high-level engagements that have marked recent years, Ambassador Aejaz underscored the positive trajectory of bilateral relations. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to intensify parliamentary linkages thereby translating them into tangible benefits for both sides, particularly in trade, economy, and regional collaboration.
Both sides explored possible areas to further bolster the Upper Chambers’ roles in mutual cooperation and joint projects. Both parties highlighted various opportunities for interregional ties, people-to-people exchanges, and economic partnerships.
While reaffirming their dedication to parliamentary ties and interregional collaboration, the parties agreed on sustaining the positive momentum of high-level exchanges to yield concrete benefits for both nations’ peoples.
