Mystic Geometry: Islamic Calligraphy Masterclass in Minsk
On June 14, the Embassy of Pakistan and the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts jointly hosted a captivating masterclass, “Mystic Geometry: The Spiritual Art of Islamic Calligraphy,” at the university gallery.
Renowned Pakistani calligrapher Aamir Kamal led the session, which drew over 30 art enthusiasts. Kamal, a seasoned exhibitor, showcased his Sufism-inspired works, blending geometric patterns with Islamic calligraphy using acrylics, inks, and gold overlays.
Under his expert guidance, participants created their own pieces, making for a truly immersive experience.
