Celebrating International Mother Language Day: Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan Recites Belarusian Poetry
On 16 February, 2024 Ambassador of Pakistan to Belarus Sajjad Haider Khan, participated in the International Mother Language Day event at Minsk City Hall. During the event, the Ambassador recited a poem by renowned Belarusian poet Pauliuk Trus, titled “Zima, zima,” alongside esteemed guests including the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus with support from various cultural institutions, saw the participation of over 30 heads of foreign diplomatic missions, consular offices, and representatives of international organizations accredited in Belarus.
Ambassador Khan’s recitation, alongside readings from other distinguished guests, underscored the significance of linguistic diversity and cultural exchange. His participation highlighted the strong bilateral ties between Pakistan and Belarus and the shared commitment to promoting mutual understanding and cooperation.
