On May 31, Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan took part in the online b2b negotiations of the Belarusian producers of timber with the importers from Pakistan organized by the National Centre for Marketing of the Republic of Belarus.

Over 30 companies from the two sides participated in the webinar. The Pakistani side was represented by the leadership of the Timber Traders Association, importers mainly of softwood and sawn timber. Belarusian side included the leading industrial enterprises, mainly UE “Bellesexport”, Vitebskdrev, JSC “Borisovski DOK”, OJSC “Rechitsadrev”, KimaBel LLC, and others.

After the main part, the discussions continued in closed webinar rooms, where potential partners discussed the details of possible cooperation.
