Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan held a detailed meeting with the Chairman of the Belarusian Union of writers Mr. Aleksandr Karlukevich. The meeting was also attended by the Cherginets Nikolai, an Honorable Chairman of the Union of writers and Сo-chairman of the Union of writers of the Union State.
During the meeting the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest pertaining to literary and cultural exchange between Pakistan and Belarus, including the celebration of Urdu/Poet Iqbal’s Day, holding of joint events, participation in the International book fair, signing of the MOU with the relevant institutions and joint publications of books etc.
