Subsequently, Dr. Khan held a meeting with Mr. Leonid Vasileyevich Anfimov, First Deputy Secretary General of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) at its Secretariat in Minsk. DHM Momin Aziz Qureshi accompanied him.

The discussions centered around exploring and enhancing cultural cooperation between the CIS and the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) through the ECO Cultural Institute.

Underscoring the importance of cultural exchange, the two sides resolved to work for strengthening ties between the two organizations. It is noteworthy that several member states of the CIS are also members of the ECO, and vice versa, highlighting the potential for enriched cultural synergy.
