Ambassador Khan's Lecture Strengthens Pakistan-Belarus Ties
Inaugural Lecture by Ambassador of Pakistan at Vitebsk State Medical University Highlights Strengthened Educational and Cultural Ties
Ambassador Sajjad Haider Khan delivered a lecture to the students of the Vitebsk State Medical University immediately after the official opening of the Pakistan Cultural/Educational Center at 3 September 2024.
The lecture, attended by around 150 students, covered Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and robust bilateral relations with Belarus. A video documentary on Pakistan was also showcased.
Earlier, Ambassador Khan held a productive meeting with the Rector of Vitebsk State Medical University to discuss expanding educational collaborations and increasing the enrollment of Pakistani students, which currently stands at 16.
The Embassy of Pakistan in Minsk has actively participated in the annual “Slavianski Bazaar” Festival in Vitebsk for the past four years, reinforcing cultural ties. The establishment of the Cultural/Educational Center is another step in strengthening these bonds.
