Pakistan at a Glance’ Exhibition Inaugurated in Minsk by Sadiq

Photographic Exhibition “Pakistan at a Glance” Inaugurated at Cheliuskintsev Park, Minsk
The Photographic exhibition titled “Pakistan at a Glance” was officially opened on 20 August 2024 by the Honorable Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, H.E. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, alongside Deputy Chairperson of the Minsk City Executive Committee Oleg Korzun, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Belarus, Sajjad Haider Khan. The event was attended by a distinguished gathering of over a hundred Belarusian dignitaries, Ambassadors, civil society members, and media representatives.
The exhibition presents a vivid portrayal of Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage, architectural and religious diversity, and its stunning landscapes, featuring the majestic Karakoram and Himalayan ranges in the North, the lush green hills and valleys of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir, as well as the mud hills, deserts, and pristine beaches of Balochistan and Sindh.
In his welcoming remarks, Ambassador Khan highlighted Pakistan’s diverse cultural and tourism heritage and underscored the role of cultural exchanges in strengthening ties between Pakistan and Belarus. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Minsk City Executive Committee for its continued support in organizing such events throughout the year. The Ambassador also extended his thanks to the talented Pakistani photographers—Adeel Chishti, Asmar Hussain, Hamid Hussain, Tehsin Razi, and Abrar Khwaja—whose work is featured in the exhibition.
Deputy Chairperson Korzun commended the Embassy for organizing the captivating exhibition and pledged his support for future initiatives. He emphasized the importance of such cultural events in deepening the understanding and friendship between the people of Pakistan and Belarus.
In his brief remarks, the Honorable Speaker, H.E. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, thanked the attendees for their participation, praised the quality of the exhibition, and emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral relations in all sectors, including culture and tourism.
The “Pakistan at a Glance” exhibition will be open to the public until the end of September, offering residents and visitors of Minsk the chance to experience the beauty and diversity of Pakistan firsthand.
