DHM Momin Aziz Qureshi Inaugurates SCO Research Center at Belarusian State University
On 27 October, DHM Momin Aziz Qureshi attended the opening of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Research Center at the Belarusian State University (BSU). The opening ceremony was attended by the Rector of BSU, representatives of the diplomatic missions of the SCO member states, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, the Republican Confucius Institute of Sinology and the Faculty of International Relations of BSU.
The Center for International Studies of the Faculty of International Relations at BSU is the only university center in Belarus with the status of a partner of the SCO Forum – an association of scientific and educational institutions of the member countries of this organization.
The functioning of the center will cover several areas, including educational, scientific, and international cooperation, holding international conferences, forums, and expert presentations to provide intellectual support to the SCO, and the countries participating in the ‘One Belt, One Road’ project
