On the second day of his visit to Mogilev city, the Ambassador visited the OJSC “Lenta”, a leading textile manufacturer on 5 Nov 2021. Director General Ms. Elena Shaytura and Deputy DG Mr. Sergey Larchenko briefed the Ambassador regarding the range of products being manufactured at the facility which include different types of ribbons, curtains, tablecloths, towels and medical bandages etc.

The parties discussed the opportunities for cooperation between textile industries of the two countries. The Belarusian side expressed its interest in importing raw materials from Pakistan required for production of gauze bandages. The Ambassador invited the company to participate in one of the trade exhibitions held in Pakistan to explore further opportunities.
